Tim Cook pledges aid to victims of Nepal flooding

Once again, Tim Cook has announced that Apple will be donating to the relief efforts following a natural disaster, this time the overwhelming flooding in Nepal.
The flooding in Nepal - image credit: Sanjit Pariyar. Just as he has so many times before, most recently with European wildfires and Venezuelan earthquakes , Cook has promised aid. It's one of Cook's final acts as CEO of Apple ahead of John Ternus replacing him on September 1, 2026 .
Our thoughts are with all those affected by the tragic flash floods and mudslides in Nepal and Tibet. Apple is making a donation to support relief and rebuilding efforts on the ground.
